Artist’s Statement
My head has always been filled with characters and stories, wanting so much to be released into the world. So, I have lovingly been drawing them since I could hold a pencil in my hand. My primary rule; never make a character without a purpose or a soul! They all have a story to tell no matter how brief.
My professional focus has been to create polished, stylized character design sheets as well as 3D versions (dolls and maquettes) for further life-like referencing, as I seek like-minded storytellers; designers, animators, filmmakers, graphic novelists, publishers, ad agencies (any and all) to collaborate with toward building bigger things to share with an increasingly large audience.
Ultimately, my characters are a part of me and, vicariously, I am part of them.
